Our boutique vineyard overlooks the historic gold mining town of Clyde, which is nestled in the burgeoning grape growing area of Central Otago. We feel a real connection with the local township and the historic buildings featured on our wine label are within walking distance of our vineyard.
Our vines are hand-tended from start to finish, ensuring the best quality grapes for a characteristic Central Otago wine. Accredited sustainable, we don’t use any nasty chemical sprays on the vines and believe healthy soil leads to healthy plants. The vineyard’s stony loam soil is trickle irrigated and we have planted hundreds of tussocks for weed control.
We offer two varieties – Pinot Noir and Pinot Noir Rose, which is a popular chilled option for the hot summer days.
Two of our daughters recently served the Clyde Village wines at their weddings. Guests were so delighted with them that bottles have now travelled across the country and around the world so that they can savour them further. We only produce small volumes, so each vintage is unique, making our wine a perfect, once-in-a-lifetime accompaniment to your once-in-a-lifetime event.
We hope you’ll like our wine as much as we do, so make sure you contact us to arrange a visit for a free taster or two. We can also take you around the vineyard to show you how we do it!
